Glowing Service meets the first Monday of each month at 1:00 p.m. for study and fellowship. We meet in the church library. Everyone is welcome! Contact the office for more information.
This group has chosen Bethany House, a safe home for women and children who are the victims of domestic abuse, as the focus for giving locally but also gives to other community charities and to worldwide missions supported by the UMW organization. The programs at their meetings highlight UMW’s role in the modern world on issues such as human trafficking, drug abuse, gun control and education for girls and women.
Joshua’s Way Fellowship meets monthly, except for July and August, at the church or in homes to plan activities that raise money for missions and that promote fellowship and friendship within the group. Our name comes from Joshua 24:15, “ As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.”
Everyone is welcome! Contact the office for more information.
The members participate in the church’s programs and in the projects of the district UMW. Two popular events are the December and June nights out at a restaurant when members and guests gather to enjoy a meal together and get to know each other better. The main fund raisers each year are the Go Green Coffee and the Valentine Tea. The proceeds from these events go to local charities and to UMCOR, a Methodist fund for disaster relief .
